Well, yesterday I started back at Kickboxing, it had been almost 10 years sense I have gone to a studio for it, and boy am I out of shape! Yesterday I thought I would pass out every couple of minutes, today… I felt like that and puking. This studio is really different then my old one, the one I went to in Washington focused on form and technique, this gym pushes you to keep moving at all times. I have learned not to wear pants there, only shorts, totally fell on my ass at one point. That’s what I get for laughing at someone getting hit in the head with a door earlier today…
So I have signed up for a year, costing me an arm and a leg, so I have to bust my butt. I am setting a goal of going at least 3 days a week, which I better meet!
I’m starting to get feedback on the book, and I’m looking forward to having it back with all of the notes so I can get started on the rewrite!
Well, I’m doing my best to make positive changes in my life, I wrote a book, started kickboxing again, and I am trying to address problems head on instead of letting them simmer below the surface. I hope that everyone who reads this feels a little inspired to better themselves, it really does feel good!
